Final abstract deadline (for late abstracts): 1 March 2002 There will also be an opportunity for delegates to present 'late breaking research. Abstracts received between 19 November 2001 and 1 March 2001 will be published in an issue of Luminescence published after the Symposium. Delegates will not receive a copy of this issue. A completed Copyright Transfer Agreement is required. |
To give an oral or poster presentation at the Symposium you will need to
be registered delegate and submit an abstract in advance. Accepted abstracts
received by 19 November 2001 will be published in the Symposium issue
of the journal Luminescence,
published by John Wiley & Sons, which will be provided free to all registered
delegates at the Symposium (see above for abstracts received after 19 November).
Abstract criteria
Abstracts will only be accepted if one or more authors are registered delegates
of the Symposium. There is a maximum of two abstracts per registered delegate.
The Symposium organisers CRTT must be in receipt of full registration payment
before abstracts or manuscripts can be accepted.
How to send us your abstract and copyright form
Please note that for each Abstract, a signed John Wiley Copyright Transfer Agreement
(CTA) is required, and this should be sent by regular airmail or courier to
the Symposium Secretariat, CRTT Ltd, 48 Glisson Road, Cambridge CB1 2HF, UK.
Please also fax a copy to the Secretariat when submitting your Abstract to the
Symposium Secretariat FAX: +44 1223-461777. The CTA must have an actual signature,
therefore emailed or faxed CTAs are NOT acceptable. If you have any questions
concerning the CTA please contact Penny Kingsley at the publisher: John
Wiley & Sons.
Each abstract must also be sent to the Secretariat by email.
Manuscripts based on the research presented in oral or poster format are invited for publication in the Proceedings volume (for further information on submission dates and instructions to authors). Please see below for details of Copyright.
Manuscripts of late abstracts (received after 19 November 2001): Those authors who have submitted late abstracts (final deadline 01 March 2002) should contact CRTT for details of manuscript submission.
These manuscripts will be published after the Symposium as a Proceedings volume, a copy of which will be sent to each delegate. We expect to be able to send these out in the 4th quarter 2002.
