Martin Easter Celsis-Lumac Ltd, UK Martin C. Easter, BSc (Hons), PhD, is the Director of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs at Celsis International, which develops, manufactures and sells rapid tests for Microbiological Quality Assurance Testing. He is involved in many aspects of the business including the development and implementation of programmes leading to the validation and acceptance of rapid test methods for a variety of industrial applications. Martin has spent much of his career in the food industry and established an expertise for the development, evaluation and application of rapid microbiological test. He spent 12 years in the manufacturing industry with Grand Metropolitan and Pillsbury, implementing Food Safety and Quality Systems and applying rapid methods to improve industrial quality assurance.
